My dearest Memom,
I am overcome with sadness that you are no longer here with us, but knowing you are not in pain and not suffering anymore helps with the sadness a bit.
I will always have memories of our family together. From Uncle Roy swinging me by my arm and leg in your backyard to Easter egg hunts with my siblings and cousins. I remember playing with McDonald’s toys in the early 90’s on the hardwood floor in front of the fireplace. Mom won’t forget the time I told you to “buckle up, it’s the law” when going to your house and then we got in a car accident on 516 near the college. From Aunt Chris’s snake in the basement to Caesar and King running around. So many adventures with Memom on Meeker.
I will miss you so much, and one day we will all be together again. Veille sur moi du ciel. Je t’aime Memom.
