Obituary of Kenneth R. Batiuk Sr.

Kenneth R. Batiuk, Sr., 68, of South Amboy, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Mr. Batiuk was born in Perth Amboy to the late Michael and Florence (Saksinsky) Batiuk and had previously lived in Perth Amboy before moving to South Amboy thirty-two years ago. Mr. Batiuk was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam war. He was employed by the DHL delivery company in Parsippany for fifteen years before retiring in 2010. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was also predeceased by his brother Dennis in 2008. Surviving are his loving wife, of 38 years, Carol (Palmer) Batiuk, his son Kenneth Batiuk Jr. and wife Katie of Fords, his daughter Kimberly McKevitt and husband Joseph of Sayreville, his brother Michael James Batiuk of Millville, PA, his sister, Barbara Stevens of Dunellen, his three grandchildren Connor, Braeden and Brooklynn and also by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday 10 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, 531 New Brunswick Ave. in Fords. Interment will follow in the Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy. Visitation hours will be held Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm.
