Obituary of Roland M. Pospolita

Roland M. Pospolita, 86, of Fords, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the Amboy Care Center in Perth Amboy. Mr. Pospolita was born in Perth Amboy to the late Michael and Martha Halasz Pospolita and had lived the last sixty-six years in Fords. Roland was a chemist with Merck & Co. in Rahway for over thirty-five years before retiring in 1989. He was predeceased by his brother Michael Pospolita in 2000. He is survived by his two sisters, Susan Stankovitz and her husband Ken of Washington, NJ Linda Galya of Wayne, a niece, Lisa Giovatto also of Wayne, and several other nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday 3:30 pm at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Private cremation services will follow. Visitation hours will be held Saturday from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
