Obituary of Anne B. Pinelli

Anne B. Pinelli, 97, of Toms River, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023 at her home. Mrs. Pinelli was born and raised in Perth Amboy to the late Alex and Julia Tangeri and had previously lived in Hopelawn for over Fifty Years before moving to Toms River twenty-nine years ago. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Atlantic Bottling Works in for ten years and spent he adult life as a homemaker and devoted mother. Anne was a Longtime member of the St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Perth Amboy, the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Church, Toms River, the St. Michael's Seniors and Rosary Society and the Hopelawn VFW Post 1352 Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband Mario L. Pinelli in 2001, two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her two sons, Leonard M. Pinelli of Spring Hill, FL., Gregory A. Pinelli of Broad Run, VA., one daughter, Annmarie Kretchmar and her husband Chris of Toms River, eleven grandchildren, Lee Staube, Tyler Straube, Holly Kozlik, Travis Straube, Kyle Kretschmar, Brian Kretschmar, Leanne Kratschmar, Marisa Pinelli, Christopher Pinelli,Alex Pinelliand Kyle Pinelli, three great grandchildren, Mason and Liam Kozlik and Kaylee Kretschmar, godchildren, Nancy Fedor and David Meelheim and her loving caretaker Donna Tillery, lifelong friend Helen Fedor, several cousins and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 4/11/23 Tuesday 9:30 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Followed by a 10:00 am mass in the St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in the St. Michael's Cemetery in Fords. Visitation hours will be held 4/10/23 Monday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Parastas service will be held Monday 3:30 pm at the Funeral Home.
