Obituary of Magda Yuschik

Magda Yuschik, 93, of Edison, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at her home. Mrs. Yuschik was born in Edison to the late Stefan Veronica Rusnak and had lived all of her life in Edison. She was the owner - operator of Walters Pharmacy Amboy Ave. Edison, for thirty years before retiring in 1979. Magda was a member of the Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords, and former member of the St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Perth Amboy and the American Legion Post 324 Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband Walter Yuschik Sr. in 1982 a son Walter Yuschik Jr. in 1998 and a brother Steve Rusnak in 2013. She is survived by her Daughter-in-law, Mary Lynn Yuschik of South Plainfield, and granddaughter, Allison Marie Yuschik of South Plainfield, NJ. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Followed by a 10:30 am mass in the Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Interment will follow in the St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 8 pm.
