We are so blessed to have been friends with Al. He was helpful, caring , and giving. He would do anything for you. We were lucky to be his neighbor and become his close friend. The first time we met, we were inspecting our soon to be new home. I saw Al by the fence and went to introduce myself. I told him we were buying the house and I noticed he had classic cars. I told Al we didn't have classic cars but we rode motorcycles. Al looked at me with a straight face and said...wow, didn't anyone tell you they don't allow motorcycles in this neighborhood? I told Al we were moving in anyway. He just cracked a smile and said he'd see us around. Classic Al. I wanted to share this story. We will miss him so much. But, I can remember that smile and sense of humor and be happy that we got to be friends with him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mary, our sweetheart...and their families. We are here for you any time. God bless you and may Al's memory be a blessing.
