My name is Beth.. I am the nurse who resuscitated Dan at Retina Consultants. I am not usually working in the Toms River office so I didn’t get to see him for months…but when we met again, I told him the chocolate covered pretzels he brought to the staff as a thank you were saved for me. They hang in a small baggie on my wall at home on display to this day. When I teach CPR , I always tell the story of his first words after he opened up his eyes after his sudden cardiac arrest.. He was on the floor and said “what the fuck just happened!” May his memory be a blessing

It’s very hard to put into words how devastating this loss is to Rich and I. Danny was a truly wonderful man. He was a giver. He gave of his time, knowledge, and his whole heart and soul!! He always made sure everyone else was taken care of without worrying about himself and that will haunt us for eternity because he kept so much of his health a secret so we wouldn’t worry. If only we could turn back time… I know hunting will never be the same for Rich and Kenny as the trio has been broken. But he never got that elusive buck that he hunted every season. Maybe the guys can finally have a try at him!! Continue to watch over your buddies and send those deer their way. We will miss seeing the Verizon truck pull up for a lunch break chat or just to check an see how his buttercup was feeling that day. I am so sad to hear about Danny's passing. Although we haven't spoken since my retirement, I have some great memories of working with Danny. We shared many many laughs over the years and annoyed many in the office. Rest easy my friend.

To Danny family he is going to be missed by us all thing will never be the same without him to bust about his hunting and who was going to get who spot danny would say to kenny i got your corner in the Field and kenny would say not anytime soon i think the deer ate better then all of them because they had to get food for the deer and so danny go wait for his big buck that kenny and tim had to let the deer go by so danny could get it danny way of tell eveyone he made the trip to heaven fine he came as a butterfly like rich use to call him buttercup androsebud we had a lot of good times with him and myself i would call them and say time to get out and they would said we are looking for what we shot and then they would say if we dont hurry Donna going to come riding her broom i am going to miss him calling us and talking about what was going to happen the next day we love you and will also miss you love are deasest friend danny and stop picking onMikey Donna and kenny and k.c mount
