Obituary of Walter Rusnak
Walter Rusnak, 98, of Fords, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at his home. Mr. Rusnak was born in Perth Amboy to the late Joseph and Maryann Rusnak and had lived in Fords for the last seventy-five years.
Walter was a US Navy Veteran of World War II.
He was employed by Middlesex County College in the maintenance department for fourteen years before retiring in 1985.
He was a member of the Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords, and also a member of the Our Lady of Peace Seniors.
Walter was predeceased by his beloved wife Julia Ann in 2011, and also by two brothers and four sisters.
He is survived by his son: Ray Rusnak and his wife Robyn of South Plainfield, his daughter: Donna Jorn and husband Art of Edison, his sister: Rusty Paul of Mt. Laurel, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Followed by a 10:30 am mass in the Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Interment will follow in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery also in Fords. Visitation hours will be held Friday from 9:00 am until the time of services. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
