Obituary of Joseph C. Hari Jr.

Joseph C. Hari, Jr., 73, of Perth Amboy, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 at his home. Mr. Hari was born in Perth Amboy to the late Joseph C. and Elizabeth Gecsey Hari Sr. and had lived all of his life in Perth Amboy. After graduating from Perth Amboy High School. Joseph earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Newark Collage of Engineering (NJIT). He was the owner and manager of Hari's Body Shop, Amboy Ave. Perth Amboy. Joseph was predeceased by a sister Mary Anne Gibboney in 2009. He is survived by his brother, Gerald Hari and his wife Linda of Mayfield, KY, two sisters, Betsy Brown and her husband Robert of Long Valley, NJ, Evelyn Hebding and her husband Gene of Matawan, NJ, seven nieces, Dona Jones, Leann Norris, Bethany Hsia, Jenny Keeling, Amanda Davis, Alyson Rice, Melissa Hari and three nephews Dana Gibboney, Nicholas Hebding, Casey Hebding, three grandnieces and six grandnephews and many cousins and close friends. Graveside services will be held Saturday 3/21/20 at 10:00 am at the Our Lady Of Hungary Cemetery, New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Arrangements are being handled by the Mitruska Funeral Home 531 New Brunswick Ave. Fords NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Charity of one's choice. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
