Helen was a wonderful sweet and highly intelligent lady. In her own quiet way she assisted her brother Johnny in his Volunteer Firefighting efforts with Protection Fire Company No. 1 of Keasbey, and his Volunteer First Aid service with St. John's. Even after Johnny's passing, Helen continued to act as the Notary for the United Firemen's Relief Association of Keasbey, Fords & Hopelawn. Indeed, her own life was one of service to others, first with her parents, her brother and finally her sister. She did it all without complaint. She willingly played her role of helping those who needed her. What pleasure she was to talk to and to know. May she now enjoy the rest she so richly deserves.
