Obituary of Matilda Nagy

Matilda Nagy, 99, of Fords, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the Aristacare at Alameda Center LTC in Perth Amboy. Mrs. Nagy was born in Hungary to the late Andras and Rozalia Szedelyi. Mrs. Nagy came to the US in 1956 and had previously lived in Keasbey before moving to Fords forty-two years ago. She had been employed by Mel's Children's Dress Factory in Perth Amboy for twenty-three years prior to her retirement. Matilda was predeceased by her beloved daughter Elizabeth Kocsis in 1989. She is survived by her loving grandchildren; Antol Kocsis of Fords and Elizabeth White and husband Charles of Beachwood, five great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy. Visitation hours will be held Thursday from 6 to 9 pm.
