Obituary of Wayne S. Lee

Wayne S. Lee Jr., 43, of Edison, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at the J.F.K. Medical Center in Edison. Mr. Lee was born in Philadelphia, PA and had moved to New Jersey in his late twenties.

Wayne worked as a chef in various places in the hospitality industry in Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey throughout his career. Most recently at the Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick. He was a member of the HTC Local 6 of NY, NY.

Wayne was very charismatic, a truly amazing friend and was known for his bear hugs!

Surviving are his loving wife: Nancy Capasso-Lee, his daughter Francesca Faith Lee, his mother Kathleen McEachin, his father Wayne S. Lee Sr., two sisters; Chevonne McEachin and Iymaan Muhammad, and six brothers; Jerome Mceachin, Tony Mceachin, Lionel McEachin, Naazir Muhammad, Noah Muhammad and Naqiyb Muhammad and stepfather Jerome Wilcox.

The family invites friends to join them at his service which will be held Monday from 10 am to 12 noon at the Mitruska Funeral Home, 531 New Brunswick Ave. in Fords. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family's GoFundMe page at gf.me/u/ub4tyj.
