Obituary of Catherine Meehan

Catherine Meehan, 63, of Carteret, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Meehan was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late John and Margaret (Wiseman) Meehan and had previously lived in Ireland and Scotland before moving to Carteret seven years ago. Catherine was a bartender for many years. She was employed by Babaloo's in Hackettstown as a bartender and then assuming the role of manager. She loved to travel. She was also an artist and amazing photographer. She was predeceased by her loving companion Gary Greiss in April of this year. Surviving are her two beloved daughters: Breige Greiss of Carteret, and Maraid Greiss of Wilkes-Barre, PA. Private funeral services were entrusted to the care of the Mitruska Funeral Home.
