Diane’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". Diane was my friend --- my sponsor into the motorcycle world--- and most important Diane was my hero. On February 14th of 08 Diane said: you need to change your ways because you are too intelligent, and beautiful --- I do not want you to die of an overdose. I am proud to say: with gratitude -- and appreciation February 18th of 08 is my sobriety date: No smoking..No drinking.. No drugs. Diane if you are reading this: Thank you, for saving my life. I will honor your legacy by living one day at a time -- in the service of others.

Since I was a kid Diane loved me and my sister like her own and always asked my dad (Joe Matula) about us. When my son Jacob was born she was so excited and couldn't wait to meet him. I met Diane 13 years ago through Joe Matula and have been close friends ever since. The first time I met her at her house we hung out in the backyard and got to know each other. The next day she had accused me of stealing her hot dogs LoL ( the good ones). After thinking about it she realized that they had eaten them a few days earlier. She would apologize about that to this day. We often laughed about it . I will never know another soul like her .My heart is broken . I know she is up in heaven with Joe and Stanley . Diane you were there for me through good and bad times and I will forever keep you in my . I love you
