Obituary of Raymond Supp
Raymond Supp, 72, of Colonia, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the J.F.K. Medical Center in Edison. Mr. Supp was born in Perth Amboy to the late Stanley and Stella M. Paris Supp and had previously lived in Sewaren before moving to Colonia eighteen years ago.
Mr. Supp was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam war. Raymond was employed by the U.S. Postal Service and the Home News Tribune for forty years before retiring. He was a member of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish - Our Lady of Hungary Church, Perth Amboy and the American Legion. He was a graduate of the first class of the Woodbridge Township Senior Police Academy. He is survived by his loving wife of forty nine years, ILona Supp, his daughter Laura Supp of Colonia, his son Derek Supp of Colonia, beloved aunt Florence Sup of Edison, cousins Deborah and Dean Meffe of Rahway, Cynthia Sup of Edison, John and Susan Paris of Blooming Grove NY. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:30 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Fords. Visitation hours will be held Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
