Obituary of Jozsef Marko

Jozsef Marko, 83, of Edison, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the J.F.K. Medical Center in Edison. Mr. Marko was born in Mezoors Hungary to the late Viktor and the Anna Toth Marko and had lived in Edison the last fifty five years.

He was employed with Edison Asphalt as a machine operator for twenty years before retiring in 1984. Jozsef was a member of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish-Our Lady Of Hungary Church, Perth Amboy. He was predeceased by his wife Anna Marko in 2012 and two sisters.

He is survived by his son, Joseph S. Marko of East Stroudsburg, PA, his brother, Gyozo Marko of Hungary and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9:15 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Fords. Visitation hours will be held Monday from 7 to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 2600 US Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.
