Obituary of Barbara O. Pasterick

Barbara O. Pasterick, 81, of Fords, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Mrs. Pasterick was born in Perth Amboy to the late Andrew and Mary Foldi Olah and had lived the last twenty years in Fords.

She was employed as a telephone operator with Bell Atlantic, Perth Amboy for twenty five years before retiring in 1991. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Joseph A. Pasterick Jr. in1982, a brother Andrew Olah and sister Mary Stochel Casey.

She is survived by her two daughters, Diane M. Pasterick of Fords and Druann Hegedus and her husband William of Hopelawn, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodbridge. Visitation hours will be held Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Christian wake service will be held Tuesday evening at 8:00 pm.
