Obituary of Theresa B. Lep

Theresa B. Lep, 96, of Jackson, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at Bartley Healthcare in Jackson. Mrs. Lep was born in Perth Amboy to the late George A. Sr. and Theresa Bali and had previously lived in Perth Amboy and Old Bridge before she moving to Jackson twenty seven years ago.

Mrs. Lep was employed as a seamstress by Danella Inc. in Piscataway before retiring in 1988. She had also been employed by Bernstein Assoc. in Perth Amboy for many years. She was a member of the ILGW Union.

Theresa was a member of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish - Our Lady of Hungary Church in Perth Amboy and also of various clubs and societies within the church.

She was predeceased by her husband John P. Lep in 1998 and also by her brother George Bali, her sister, Anna Andrejack and her niece Judith A. Bali.

She is survived by her son John Lep of Nobleboro, Maine and by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 10 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, 531 New Brunswick Ave. in Fords. Interment will follow in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery. also in Fords. Visitation hours will be held Monday from 4 pm to 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
