Obituary of Thomas R. Vineyard
Thomas R. Vineyard, 65, of Fords, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 the at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Mr. Vineyard was born in Iselin to the late Byron and Lillian Vineyard and had previously lived in Sayreville before moving to Fords nine years ago. Mr. Vineyard was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam war. He was a member of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club Chapter XI serving as road Captain.
He was employed with the Skytop Gardens Apartments in Parlin for thirty three years before retiring in 2015. Thomas was predeceased by two brothers James and William Vineyard and a sister Lillian Kulcsar. He is survived by his loving wife of forty one years, Deborah Vineyard, three daughters, Brienne Klausman and her husband Henry of Marlboro, Amanda Jung and her husband John of Fords, Amber Luberto and her husband Michael of Sayreville, a brother, Robert Vineyard of South Amboy, a sister, Barbara Jankowski of Wildwood, FL, eight grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 3:30 pm at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. With the Rev. Dr. Anne-Marie Jeffery officiating and a 8:30 pm Military Honors service. Private cremation will follow in the Rosehill Crematory in Linden. Visitation hours will be held Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Make A Wish Foundation.
